These Eraneos FOKUS seminars focused on the question of how the fulfillment of compliance requirements can be optimally supported with Enterprise Content Management (ECM).
ECM is not only about IT solutions, but above all about increasing efficiency and reducing costs in business process handling through automation and improved information management. Important drivers for ECM are the so-called 4 Cs: Collaboration, Costcutting, Continuity and Compliance. ECM solutions offer legally secure storage of business-relevant documents (so-called records), but also their guaranteed destruction after expiry of the legal storage periods. ECM logs all accesses to records and increases the efficiency of finding documents during audits.
On the basis of numerous examples it was discussed how ECM solutions help to master today's so complex regulatory and legal requirements and thus favour an effective risk management. However, a successful ECM implementation requires a change to a digital way of working and a change of culture. Those affected must become participants and support the change.
This and other success factors of ECM initiatives were presented at the well-attended Eraneos seminars and supported by project experience. After the lecture, the Eraneos experts answered numerous exciting questions.
