Not important in the further expansion
Zurich, September 12, 2019 - With a forward-looking strategy and an appropriate operating model, AWK Group continues to grow. By appointing Robin Euler as a new Partner and Chief Operating Officer (COO), the company active in digital transformation is taking an important step forward in its further expansion.

The new COO position is intended to strengthen AWK from an organisational point of view and contribute to advancing the introduction of a new operational model with a high degree of professionalism. On the other hand, as part of AWK's international expansion, the COO's role is essential to ensure operational excellence and to meet high quality requirements when providing services. Indeed, AWK wishes not only to support its customers in the context of digital transformation, but also to take on a pioneering role in digitisation with an innovative operational model. The growth of more than 15% in the first half of 2019 underlines that the strategic direction chosen by AWK is bearing fruit. «I am convinced that AWK's new orientation as well as the various acquisitions at national and international level decided as part of the implementation of the strategy will create attractive growth potential. I am delighted to be actively involved in these projects», says Robin Euler.

Robin Euler studied business administration at the University of Mannheim and holds an MBA degree from Western Illinois University in Macomb, USA. After more than 10 years in international management positions at Detecon International GmbH, including as a member of the International Executive Board and Head of Global Functional Practical "Innovation & Special Assets", Euler was previously CEO of Detecon Schweiz AG and also headed the Digital Solutions division of T-Systems International GmbH in Switzerland and Austria.
