Information Technology Days 2016 in Zurich
During the first computer science days, Eraneos will open its doors on Saturday, June 4, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and offer interested visitors insights into the world of informatics.
The program is primarily aimed at students and graduates of computer science, electrical engineering and physics who would like to learn more about Eraneos and the diverse consulting opportunities in the IT environment. The Eraneos consultants report on their everyday project work and are available to answer individual questions.
The presentation "ICT in the Gotthard Base Tunnel" will shed light on information and communication technology in the world's longest tunnel, which will open on 1 June. On behalf of Alptransit Gotthard AG (ATG), Eraneos was responsible for project planning and implementation support in the areas of tunnel control technology, data networks, telephony and radio. The long planning and implementation horizon of more than 15 years and the integration into the existing SBB railway landscape posed particular challenges. Time: 9:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.
The presentation "Technology Trends in Road Traffic" gives an overview of new technologies such as autonomous vehicles, Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data, which will massively change road traffic if not revolutionize it. What are the top trends, what do they bring and what are the sticking points in their implementation? Time 10:30 a.m. and 14:00 p.m.
In the presentation "Data Analytics - Digging for modern gold", concrete project examples are used to show how the daily data volumes in every company are brought together and evaluated so that new and valuable information can be obtained for the company. Time: 11:15 clock and 14:45 clock
No registration is required to visit Eraneos. The number of participants is limited to 25 persons.
