High-density data center for cloud providers

With the new high-density data center in Lupfig, Aargau, Green Datacenter meets the high infrastructure and security requirements of internationally active Hyperscale cloud providers from September 2019. The new data center building sets new standards in terms of performance density, security and availability and now covers a gross floor area of 28,000 m².

The high time pressure in the project and the size of the data center resulted in correspondingly high demands on project management. By way of illustration: during the one-year implementation phase, an average of around 100 man-days were worked per day. Eraneos was able to support this major project in project management. We congratulate the Green Datacenter on the opening of Zürich-West 3 and wish it a successful completion.

After the success is before the success: The planning and preparation work for two more computer centres in Lupfig is already running at full speed. Green Datacenter has thus increased the gross floor area offered to its customers by 70,000 m². On the basis of the successful cooperation to date, Green Datacenter has commissioned Eraneos with extended project management tasks in these major projects.
