First German-language teaching aid according to IPMA ICB4
Under the leadership of Eraneos employees, the textbook "Project Management - Certification according to IPMA(ICB4)-levels D and C" was prepared and structured according to the new ICB4.
Broadly applicable, comprehensive standard
At the end of 2016, the International Project Management Association (IPMA) published version 4.0 of the Individual Competence Baseline (ICB4) for the competence domain Project Management. The broadly applicable IPMA standard, which comprehensively targets the capabilities of project managers, is of particular importance in Europe. More than 50 country organizations worldwide now support IPMA, so that by the end of 2016 around 250,000 project managers had been certified at various levels.
Three areas of competence
The structure of the teaching material is based on the three competence areas in project management according to ICB4: context (interaction with the parent organisation and society), people (personal and social competences) and practices (technical management competences).
Analogous to earlier versions, the ICB4 describes the "what" of project management. In addition, Eraneos's Project Management competence area summarises its specific know-how in the "How" and contributes its practical experience in project management.
Target group
The teaching aid is aimed at all those who want to lead projects, work on projects or deal with project management, improve their competence in the field of project management, strive for an IPMA certification level D or C in project management and give or develop training courses in project management.
