Change management in organizational projects
Projects for the introduction of Enterprise Content Management Systems (ECMS) are primarily organizational projects and therefore bring with them special challenges. Interventions in workflows cause changes that often cause resistance or lack of motivation, disinterest in the new system or even resignation. The potential increases in efficiency are thus difficult to achieve. In order to carry out a successful cultural change with the introduction, the affected persons must be included and convinced.
The article in the Bulletin, the trade journal of electrosuisse and VSE, focusing on IT and energy, is based on the Eraneos Group's project experience in introducing ECMS to leading Swiss energy utilities.
