Are you looking for a new start as consultant after a long professional career?
In this case, we can offer you the opportunity to usefully apply your valuable skills and experience in our projects as a consultant and specialist. Free from hierarchical duties, internal bureaucracy and politics, you will be able to focus fully on objective assignments, and apply your specialist and methodological skills, as well as your life experience. AWK employs several Senior Consultants with great success.
Do you have professional work experience?
If so, you can start work here as Consultant after a brief induction period. If you have the relevant professional experience in consultancy you can start working for us immediately as a Senior Consultant. You will assume responsibility for projects from initial strategy through to realisation. With your skill and your dedication you will play a significant role in the success of our consultancy service. You will be given the exciting task of actively helping to shape the future of our clients as the responsible project leader, while being assisted by our divisional managers and partners. You will be personally supported by a further training programme specially adapted for you. If the aptitude and interest are there, you also have the chance to take on tasks in customer care, in the field of knowledge management or business development. Besides the professional career move from Senior Consultant to Principal Consultant, there is also the option of leading employees as divisional manager and being in charge of markets.
Have you just completed your degree?
In this case, you will start as project assistant / Junior Consultant. AWK offers recent graduates an ideal entry into the professional world, as important skills can be gained or strengthened within a few years for a successful career:
- Social skills (within the team and with the customer)
- Broad-based technical knowledge in the fields of IT, telecoms and control systems
- Skills in project management and the methodical approach for solving demanding challenges
As a recent graduate, you will start working as a Junior Consultant, or, if you have a doctorate, as a Consultant. Your development will be assisted and supported by a well-tuned programme of further training, as well as by your being assigned to interesting projects. Direct contact with customers, careful work in a varied setting, and a friendly working atmosphere will be prime features for you. If you have good analytical skills, a strong interest in IT and telecommunications, and natural social skills, then this will be just the right place for you.
